El Silencio Ancestral

My name is Alejandro, and for more than 30 years I have been exploring, again and again, the landscapes of Córdoba. Its mountains, its dirt roads, its quiet wildlife, its deep history and that energy that is hard to explain but impossible to ignore are part of my life.

Traslasierra is not just a destination for me. It is a land you can feel. A place where nature keeps its original rhythm and where silence has a presence of its own.

For decades I explored the Punilla Valley, and life brought me to Traslasierra. With curiosity and respect I discovered its ancestral history, its natural wealth, its villages, its identity and that invisible connection many people feel when they arrive for the first time. Over time I realized I didn't just want to visit it… I wanted to create a place to share it.

That is how El Silencio Ancestral was born.

Silencio (silence), for the natural setting where the noise fades away and all you hear is birdsong. Ancestral, for the deep history, the passing of time, the original inhabitants, and our respect and love for this place.

I decided to build three cabins for those who feel nature beyond the scenery. For those looking for more than a place to stay: a restorative space, a mental, physical and spiritual rest.

Here the energy comes from the sun, the water springs from the earth, the air is clean and the nights are wide open. The land has been touched no more than necessary. Every detail was designed to respect the place and let each guest connect with their own rhythm.
